Millar's MPress
software provides a comprehensive analysis of
single and dual pressure data. The easy-to-use
program reads data files of text tab delimited
format generated by ADInstruments PowerLab or
other similar data acquisition systems.
The data is presented in a
clean, readable format complete with data
analysis graphs, hemodynamic summary, and
pressure vs. dP/dt loops. The results can be
saved in text format for easy export to a
spreadsheet or word processor software program.
MPress opens the
text files generated by the data acquisition
software and applies a variety of algorithms to
the pressure data to calculate the following
hemodynamic parameters:

MPress Main Menu
MPress contains an
intuitive user menu that offers easy access to a
variety of displays and calculation tables for
several cardiovascular parameters.

Hemodynamic Summary
The hemodynamic summary for
ventricular pressure is displayed below. These
parameters are calculated for each cycle. A
linear regression can be performed using any two
parameters.
Pressure vs. dP/dt Loop
MPress had the
ability to display pressure vs. dP/dt loops as
shown in the snapshot below.

Data
may be easily exported to spreadsheets or text
files, and graphical information can be placed
into presentations or papers for publication.
