The Centre for Evidence Based Purchasing
recently published a Buyers' Guide on patient
activated ECG recorders.
The 45 page report includes the Merlin,
CardioClip and CardioBlue and a full technical
review on the Instant Check handheld ECG
recorder which is rated as "good".
Patient activated ECG recorders are
ambulatory devices that allow patients to
initiate an ECG recording when they experience
symptoms of arrhythmia, including palpitations,
light-headedness or syncope (partial or complete
loss of consciousness).
