 Waiting Room Blood Pressure Monitors

AND TM-2655P Digital Blood Pressure Monitor.

The nGMS contract makes the detection and management of patients with high blood pressure a key clinical indicator and accounts for a large percentage of clinical points.

Practices need to ensure protocols for blood pressure recording are established but this can be time consuming for the nurse and/or Doctor. With the TM-2655P on average you could save up to 5 hours time per Doctor/Nurse per week!

The TM-2655P has received an AA grade for clinical accuracy to the demanding British Hypertension Society accuracy criteria. It is a fully automatic blood pressure monitor with single button operation and uses an advanced Oscillometric algorithm for hospital accuracy.

It is supplied with a stand (a height adjustable chair is recommended but not supplied) and there is a an easy to read liquid crystal display with an automatic print out using the built in printer. The ergonomic design and small footprint maximises patient comfort and means they can use either arm to record their own blood pressure.

The TM-2655P Digital Blood Pressure Monitor has been designed for use within the waiting room/reception area and allows the patient to take their own blood pressure reading prior to their consultation.

New Feature The latest version of the TM-2655P now features a new Irregular Heartbeat Indicator which is indicated on the printout if present during a measurement, alerting the clinician to the existence of a possible intermittent arrhythmia.

It is small enough not to worry the patient but provides useful additional information on a patients heart rhythm which can be followed up with an ECG if appropriate. An irregular heartbeat is defined as a heartbeat that varies by 25% from the average of all heartbeats during the measurement.

A printout is provided which the patient can then be  given to the nurse, Doctor, healthcare assistant or even the receptionist so that their blood pressure can be accurately recorded.

The latest version will also give the following information for audit purposes total number of measurements recorded by the product, a weekly count and a monthly count on a printout.

Use left or right arm.

  • When the measurement is complete, the cuff will automatically release and become loose at which time you can remove your arm.
