Blood Pressure Classification Index

The World Health Organization (WHO) classifies blood pressure ranges into 6 stages. The UA-767+30 indicates your position (Optimal to Severe hypertension) automatically after each measurement is complete on its LCD display by displaying an LCD segment.

The UA-767+30 also features a large LCD that clearly displays diastolic, systolic and pulse readings. It has a last reading recall and one touch measurement.

Attaching the arm cuff

Wrap the cuff around the upper arm, about 2-3 cm above the elbow, as shown.

Place the cuff directly against the skin, as clothing may cause a faint pulse, and result in a measurement error.

Constriction of the upper arm, caused by rolling up a shirt sleeve, may prevent accurate readings

For the most accurate blood pressure measurement:

  • Sit comfortably at a table. Rest your arm on the table.
  • Relax for about five to ten minutes before measurement.
  • Place the centre of the cuff at the same height as your heart.
  • Remain still and keep quiet during measurement.
  • Do not measure after physical exercise or a bath.
  • Try to measure your blood pressure at the same time every day.
