Blood Pressure Classification Index
The
World Health Organization (WHO) classifies blood
pressure ranges into 6 stages. The UA-767+30
indicates your position (Optimal to Severe
hypertension) automatically after each measurement
is complete on its LCD display by displaying an LCD
segment.
The UA-767+30
also features a large LCD that clearly displays
diastolic, systolic and pulse readings. It has a
last reading recall and one touch measurement.
Attaching the arm
cuff
Wrap
the cuff around the upper arm, about 2-3 cm
above the elbow, as shown.
Place the cuff directly against the skin, as
clothing may cause a faint pulse, and result in
a measurement error.
Constriction of the upper arm, caused by rolling
up a shirt sleeve, may prevent accurate readings
For the most
accurate blood pressure measurement:
Sit
comfortably at a table. Rest your arm on the
table.
Relax for
about five to ten minutes before
measurement.
Place the
centre of the cuff at the same height as
your heart.
Remain still
and keep quiet during measurement.
Do not
measure after physical exercise or a bath.
Try to
measure your blood pressure at the same time
every day.
