The Carefusion Spirometry PC software is optimised for use with the SpiroUSB, MicroLab and MicroLoop spirometers. It is compatible with Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7.

Ease of use is key and tests are displayed in real time with clear colour coding of each blow. Patients can be tested in real time or results can be uploaded from the spirometer memory. Test curves can be overlaid for comparison and up to 50 spirometry indices can be measured.

Micro Medical PulmoLife

PulmoLife is a new COPD screening device, designed for quick and easy screening of adult smokers for early detection of COPD.

This small, innovative device measures FEV1, the measurement of choice in COPD screening. The unit will display a patient’s result together with the FEV1 as a percentage of their predicted value. These results are used to calculate a ‘Lung Age’. Micro Medical recommend you use disposable one way mouthpieces with this product.

Micro Medical Smoke Check

The Smoke Check is a simple screening test for cigarette consumption. Giving an instant indication of CO levels in PPM, and backed up with colour light indicators.

It is supplied with a carry case, sample cardboard mouthpieces, one-way plastic mouthpiece adaptor, calibration adaptor, calibration tool, 9V PP3 battery, operating manual and a smoking cessation guide chart.

All Gas monitoring equipment will require routine calibration. Micro Medical recommend calibration at 6 monthly intervals. This will ensure your Smoke Check monitor will continue to give you accurate results.

The smoke check calibration kit includes a control valve with flow indicator and pressurised gas canister containing 20PPM Co2 in Air (sufficient for approximately 15-20 calibration checks).
