Frequently Asked Questions

Why Is Using The Correct Cuff Size Important?
Using the correct cuff size is important for an accurate reading.

A cuff that is too large will produce a reading that is lower than the correct blood pressure; a cuff that is too small gives  a measurement that is higher. With your arm hanging at the side of your body, measure the circumference of your upper arm at the midpoint between shoulder and elbow.

The following cuff sizes are available for UA series monitors

Arm Size Recommended Cuff Size
18-22cm  UA Series Small Cuff (Latex Free)
22-32cm UA Series Adult Cuff (Latex Free)
32-45cm UA Series Large Adult Cuff (Latex Free)
42-60cm  UA-789XL Only Extra Large Cuff (Latex Free)
