It is\ncurrently available in the latest 2019 versions of the\nUA-767S AFib+ and UA-767S-W AFib+ from leading distributor PMS Instruments and\nwill be available in more models soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why is the detection of Atrial\nFibrillation important? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AFib is an irregular heart beat that can\nlead to strokes and other heart related conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NHS long term plan (NHSLTP) recently\npublished ambitious targets for Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) and high Blood\nPressure detection over the next 10 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Atrial Fibrillation the targets are <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That 85% of the expected number of\npeople with AF are detected by 2029<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That 90% of people with AF who are known\nto be at high risk of stroke to be adequately anti-coagulated by 2029.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The A&D UA 767S Afib+ and UA-767S-W Afib+\nwith %IHB\/AFib detection could\nhelp with these aims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The monitors classify the %IHB into 4 different grades showing how often an IHB has been detected during the measurement and illustrated by an icon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
