FlowMIR is an inexpensive alternative to a reusable flowmeter and replaces the need for an antibacterial filter. It is a suitable alternative to the MIR reusable turbine. A full Spirometry session can be performed, including a Bronchial Challenge and POST Bronchodilator test. The turbine and mouthpiece are then simply thrown away. The ideal sensor for Spirometry.
Since FlowMir is factory calibrated with a computerised system and is packaged individually in a clean room proper function is not affected by variations in temperature, humidity or pressure. FlowMir replaces the need for an antibacterial filter which reduces cost and is hygienically packed in a clean room. Each one is individually tested. The turbine and mouthpiece are simply thrown away after use. Designed for use exclusively with MIR spirometers and supplied in a pack of 60. They are compliant with the latest ATS/ERS Spirometry Guidelines.
